SSI's translation and linguistics team is assembled from former Israeli Defense Forces' officers and NCO's. Most of them served as translators in the Israeli Defense Intelligence (IDI), accumulating years of service and academic backgrounds in the fields of Islam, Middle-East studies and linguistics, as well as a proven experience in the field of threat-related materials. In addition to in-depth knowledge and a deep understanding of Arabic and Islamic culture and religion, team members are highly familiar with the unique nuances of peer-to-peer platforms' language - from frequent use of jargon and highly varied slang to use of 'internet-talk' formats.
